Founded in 2007, Cytopeutics leads cell therapy in Asia-Pacific, aiming to save lives. We are among the top 10 global biotech companies, with the largest stem cell cGMP lab in Southeast Asia. In 2011, we pioneered human umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cell treatments. Under Dr. Chin, we've completed trials for stroke, heart disease, arthritis, and diabetes complications. Our stem cell product is the only NPRA-approved Stage II in Malaysia. In 2023, we achieved the world's first Halal endorsement for stem cells. 科艺部资助研究干细胞取得成果

科学、工艺与革新部长郑立慷表示，由科艺部资助的干细胞研究取得成果，令人鼓舞。日前郑立慷去参访位于赛城的世德生物科技有限公司（Cytopeutics），这间公司在2019年获得科学、工艺及革新部旗下的SMART基金，获得拨款逾244万令吉用于针对间充质干细胞应对急性移植物抗宿主疾病的研究，相关研究取得良好成果。郑立慷今日在面子书指出，世德生物科技在以间充质干细胞治疗心脏病、急性中风、糖尿病、移植物抗宿主病（GVHD）的领域进行临床研究，在第I期和第II期的临床研究中，都有良好的成果。这两项研究是由大马科艺部提供经费，在数间公共和私立医院进行的。郑立慷介绍，最近世德生物科技还获得了大马生物经济企业技术发展的2项基金资助，用于II-III期双盲随机对照研究，以评估同种异体脐带间充质干细胞，在急性缺血性卒中患者的疗效。 Cytopeutics是世界排名前10的生物技术公司，致力于研究利用间充质干细胞治疗计划。同时也是马来西亚第一家获得国际伊斯兰教律学院（IIFA）认可，符合伊斯兰教法的干细胞公司他说，世德生物科技主要创始人、间充质干细胞研究学者，同时也是心脏内科顾问陈世标教授近日也荣获国际细胞和基因治疗学会（ISCT）所颁发的“2024新兴市场开拓者”奖项，这个奖也是该学会33年来首次有亚洲人获得此殊荣。

nominated by #MOSTI and endorsed by the #MOE for the #UNESCO Equatorial Guinea International Prize for Research in the Life Sciences. There were over 300 submissions, with each country being limited to 1-5 nominees only. I made it to the shortlist with the winners announced this year. The 3 laureates from Egypt, China and Greece all made important contribution to medicine and received their prize on 23 April this year at a ceremony held in Addis Ababa Ethiopia. First Halal Umbilical Cord-Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cell

Cytopeutics was the first group to successfully initiate and conclude proper stem cell clinical trials in Malaysia from 2009 to 2014. Then in 2011, Cytopeutics became the first in the ASEAN region to use donor human umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells to treat unrelated patients. Cytopeutics continued to keep the Malaysian flag flying high by also being the first company from Malaysia to obtain US patents for mesenchymal stem cells treatment.
